I also like that Sabine who was her nemesis has become her friend. Unlike other stories since book one Kaylley has matured and her character has matured. (real heart-breakers) Kaylley really matures and learns how to deal with her new situation. There are several humorous moments, and some really tragic ones. I believe that was either chapter 12 or 13. I laughed so hard I had to go back three times to hear what was really being said. I LOVED when Sabine gave Sara a reality check. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you? I love her narration, she does each character voice very differently and makes it easy to follow.

What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like? No book but I'd say Buffy the Vampire slayer TV series were in this book we have other kinds of super naturals and a real "Hell Mouth" What other book might you compare Before I Wake to and why? New characters, how they interacted and the action really never stops. What made the experience of listening to Before I Wake the most enjoyable? I highly recommend it because it's fun, exciting, and romantic. Amanda Ronconi does a great job narrating this series. I understand Kaylee's need to take care of her family and friends. She's an honest, caring and smart heroine and somebody that I can relate to. I think Vincent does a terrific job of writing Kaylee. She's got a lot of guilt going on and she's trying to make things right but it's not easy for her. We also get a lot of Kaylee dealing with inner struggles about her life, death, the way things ended with Nash. There were times when my heart melted at the words spoken by Tod. Somehow Tod always knows the perfect thing to say and is such a romantic. The tension was so high and I was fearful for the life of my favorite character (Tod). I'm not going to say anything on the plot of this story as there's not much to be said that won't spoil the prior books.
